Risk Assessment (generic and site specific) and operating procedures- Badger Adventures, review (and amend if needed) all risk assessments at the beginning middle and the end of the Duke of Edinburgh Season.
Badger Adventures do a full reconnoitre of the Expedition areas before we take any Students/Adults into that area.

Badger Qualifications and Experience
All Badger Staff have a passion for the Outdoors. They are fully qualified, and hold National Governing Body awards for the terrain they are working in. Badger Adventure instructors, are experienced in running expeditions in the all areas of the UK. They also hold Exped First Aid, a DBS Check, and Dofe Assessors
All instructors hold Dofe Assessors and are experienced in delivering the DofE syllabus, to help the participants get maximum fulfilment and fun from the Badger Adventure program.
Badger Instructors are Fully inducted into Badger Adventure Procedures, Risk Assessment in the activity that they are running.
Badger Adventures are fully Insured for Outdoor Activities that Badger Adventures Provide, and has public and employers liability.
For Badger Adventures UK and Overseas Adult trips, and in accordance with ‘The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations 1992’ all passengers booking with Badger Adventures are fully insured for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation form. The policy will also include repatriation if required, arising from the cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of Badger Adventures.
