Guided Trekking Holidays to Mount Kilimanjaro from Badger Adventures

Starting out on the Northern side of Africa’s highest mountain, this adventure will take you to the roof of Africa. The Rongai Route is a quieter, less frequented trail and houses a more gradual gradient through plantations, rain forest, bush lands, then leaving the vegetation behind to offer a true wilderness experience.

Kilimanjaro Rongai Route

While soaking up the breath taking scenery and the possibility of viewing wildlife, especially the black and white colobus monkey, a slower ascent and relaxed pace offers good acclimatisation, preparing you to attempt and the likelihood of reaching the summit. Our experienced guides accompanied by the porter staff, quite often the heart and soul of your trip, will ensure this challenge will be an exhilarating, unforgettable and rewarding trip of a lifetime.

  1. My husband, daughter and I booked with Ritchie at Badger Adventures having travelled with him to Snnapurna and we were equally delighted with his guiding skills and nouturing style. Flights were simple to arrange and the welcome to Tanzania was warm and friendly with the local crew who had clearly loved working with Ritchie on previous trips. All our needs were taken care of and all we needed to do was walk ….. slowly of course. Despite a little sickness reroute, we all enjoyed the trip and would highly recommend Badger Adventures for this beautiful trek on Kilimanjaro.
