Cederberg Mountains guided trek from Badger Adventures

Let us take you to the Cederberg Conservancy which lies approximately 250km North West of Cape Town in the Western Cape Province of South Africa.

Encased in this vast area are some of the world’s most impressive natural creations of rugged terrain, exposing dramatic rock formation, rock art, indigenous wildlife and blankets of blossoming flowers spread over the landscape.

This region of undisturbed wilderness provides an exhilarating and majestic setting for your adventure with hiking paths woven into the terrain paving the way.

Opening your journey you will spend a breathtaking evening watching the sun setting over Table Mountain while drinking champagne. Then be guided to spectacular structures like the Maltese Cross, the Wolfberg Crack and the Wolfberg Arch and to the captivating Staadsal Caves which are a gallery to San Bushmen rock art, these art exhibitions tell the silent tales of the inhabitants who made their lives in the mountains hundreds of years ago.

You will explore these lands carrying only your day bag throughout the day, before settling down for the evening in a fully equipped chalet, in front of fire, while your food is prepared and cooked on a barbeque (brai).

Finishing off your cultural trip with a visit to Table Mountain and to the wine lands surrounded by natures home grown splendours.
