Training Day – Badger Adventures will visit your school to provide a route planning session for your practice expedition. Food and kit sessions will also be provided.
|1||Arrive at the Start early, where the instructors/supervisors will check the participants food and kit, and group kit will be handed out. Then the group will walk to camp, with the instructor delivering Navigation Skills and Emergency Procedures on the way.|
|2/3||The group will then execute the rest of their route, with the instructor remote supervising them. At the end of day 3 the groups will walk into a Bunkhouse, where they will clean and return group kit. The group will be debriefed by their instructor, and can then relax with hot food and a shower.|
|4||Route planning day for the Qualifying and the head home.|

Bunkhouse and YHA (at the start and end of your practice, and at the start of your assessment)
Group equipment (tents, group shelters, stoves, gas, maps, first-aid kits, wild No.2’s kit)
Quality supervisors / accredited assessors (all have ML and exped first aid trained)
Comprehensive training days and route planning days
Transport to the expedition area
Your personal equipment
Your food for the duration (before/during/after the expedition)
Badger Adventures will orchestrate, organise, facilitate and assess the expedition phase of your D of E programme.
